Day 1: Cairo/Alexandria: |

Alexandria/El Alamein/Marsa Matrouh: |

The journey continues with a drive to El Alamein where the battle between the Allies under the command of Montgomery and the Axis under the command of Rommel during WWII took place. There you will visit the British, the German and the Commonwealth Cemeteries as well as Alamein's War Museum. Afterwards, we will drive you to Marsa Matrouh where you will visit Cleopatra's bath before heading to the hotel for overnight. |

Day 7: White Desert/Farafra Oasis/Dakhla Oasis : |
Drive to Farafra Oasis (first by Jeep, then by car) and visit the Village of Qasr El Farafra and its quaint Museum of Local Art. Proceed to Dakhla Oasis to visit El Qasr, the old capital of the oasis, with its picturesque ancient Islamic buildings built over the foundations of a Roman city. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Dakhla Oasis. |

Day 8: Dakhla/Kharga Oases : |

After breakfast, drive to Al Mizawaka, visit the Roman Burial Ground decorated with colorful wall paintings.
On the way from Dakhla to Kharga Oasis, visit the Pharaonic Villages of Balat (if open) and Bashandi. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Kharga. |

Day 9: Kharga Oasis :

After breakfast, visit The Temple of Hibis from outside, the best-preserved temple in the Western Desert. Later, visit the Domed Mausoleums of Bagawat, one of the best preserved early Christian cemeteries in the world. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Kharga Oasis. |

Day 10: Kharga / Luxor / Cairo : |

Drive to Luxor. Rest of day free for leisure/shopping in Luxor. Transfer to Luxor Airport to board the flight to Cairo or to Luxor Railway Station to board the sleeper train to Cairo. |
